They are real and they are similar to chakras in that there are many more of them than they realize.
Just like the chakras these are like arteries, some small and some large just like the srteries in the body.
You can travel through them on the astral plane. You can see your soul group and do all kinds of awesome things if you can figure out how to ride them. You just "slip" into them.
