Anyone who has a passport or driving licence have already given the government their face picture Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80951743 There is no legislature to protect against 'locking out' a person who is registered for government services. Perhaps it would be prudent to ensure that was in-place first? |

Anyone who has a passport or driving licence have already given the government their face picture Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80951743 Centralizing databases improves universal access to information by all government agencies including law enforcement. In the past a warrant or permission from a judge would have been required for anyone outside law enforcement to access your drivers license or passport and see your photo. A centralized facial recognition database tied to all government records allows for tracking and monitoring of all citizens by computer twenty four hours a day seven days a week. That can be shared with anyone the government chooses to share it with at any time and they will. Law enforcement and government agencies will access by default including the people who run the street cameras and all those other centralized camera systems out there. See where this is going? Twenty four seven monitoring with no privacy at all and automated fines for misbehavior no matter how small or insgnificant. They already tested that out during the "lockdowns" and the majority complied. |
