I sure it is. All you have to do to get disillusioned with this place is read the first thread on any given day.

It kind of makes me giggle to think that a website that goes out of its way to provide anonymity to both registered members and through AC posting would then ask people to show their faces and join a chat room. LOL! Sure thing Slick (er, Trinity).

Well, if it's visual chat, why would I want to make it easy for folks to deep fake me. Plus, I live in a house with several other people. Pinpointing me might not be easy. So maybe there are individuals who are not in the chat room. I'm not a fed. I know there is likely a fed who is a moderator or at least some sort of a spook. I know that a lot of folks are tired and started speaking their minds more. My fear is deepfaking us or setting us up. I stay anon because life is dangerous. I stay in the shadows because even proton mail has fallen to the guv. It's a crappy time. I think it's cool some are braver than I am, but there's no way I'm going to stick my neck out right now. I do better for others staying under the radar.

I do wish we had a separate forum section for preps and self-sustaining lifestyle/homesteading ideas.

You haven't been on threads here where we all posted our photos? That was so much fun! But we haven't had one of those threads for about two years.
