Anybody seeing an unusual amount of helicopter activity tonight? I am!

Lots here in S Central PA.
Started around 8 pm.
We live in middle of nowhere and lately seems more helicopters at night in last few weeks.

I almost never see helicopters where I live on NC. I saw 3 yesterday. They were not military though.

When I first got to work last night at 7 pm. Heavy cloud cover, rainy in Detroit. Couldn’t see it through the clouds but it was low enough that I felt it. Loud as fu@$.

Yes, after seeing the title, I live 30min outside of Chicago .

Last night I did notice alot of helicopter activity at night.

Had helicopters buzzing about all last night were I live Lincolnshire got woken up couple of times.

Noticed military craft all over from Kansas city driving to Jefferson city.

Saw a Chinook the other day. Never seen one in my area before.

Also saw a pair of Blackhawks buzzing around Lake George when I was up there camping a few weeks ago. Thought that was strange.

I live near a major midwest city and there have been multiple posts on the local online info boards around me of people asking about all the helicopter activity.

I hear allot more of them and they are not on my flight tracker app so that usually means military. The medical flights, police helicopter and most private helicopters are on there.

coppers have been more common on the east coast over the past few years. More concerning is the large grey cargo planes that start moving as soon as the sun sets.

Yes. Titusville Florida. Usually, 2-3 moving south along or rather above the Indian River and back again several hours later. Occasionally, one helicopter traveling the same route.

My husband saw one in midcoast Maine, hovering, with ladder down. Felt like black ops shit.

Thus the Carnary Islands are active and the public assumes any tsunami fears to be due to this possibility. Why would military helicopter activity increase along the East Coast and under the Seaway where the New Madrid Fault Line runs? This chopper activity is also evident just to the West of the Mississippi River where sinking and consequent flooding land is expected. The chopper are measuring ground tension, and reporting this to the Military scientists.

Last week we saw 4 big military helicopters near little deep fork river 15-20 min away from depew area & then later that day they were seen in sapulpa...lots going on atm...military intelligence says we are defcon 5...if you don't think the CCP has infiltrated the USA just..look at everything that says "made in China" they've been at it for a LONg time & even though trump won hands down and he signed the insurrection act of 1807...the worldwide ds cabal satanic elite won't go down without a fight...but just remember...God always WINS (sorry this was for everyone mot jus you my bad)

SW Washington here, located 35 miles north of Portland.

Granted we are kind of in a flight path between Fort Lewis-McChord and Portland/Pendleton, but we have had a significant uptick of double-bladed helicopters in the last week or so.

I am at 800 feet above sea level and they are flying very close to land...rattles windows many times.

We have see 6-7 go by at a time, but often just 1-3 seems to be the norm.

I have learned to pick out military vs. life flight vs.coast guard based on sound.

I'm in the same area as bob and he is right on the money. Double bladed helicopter was shaking my windows for two hours as it did circles around the downtown area 10/13. Flying lower than I have ever seen before. My old lady has a vid and pics on her phone and I will try to post. I have dumb phone.

I heard one very loudly over head last night after midnight.

Very unusual.

Maybe someone should start a regional thread. I know there are a few guys from the PNW here. We are a unique area in that Portland shithole and off grid prepper types are only a half from each other. Be easier to find out if going ons or weird activity is near or far.

Mental image while reading this made me immediately think of chess or checkers board trembling, then bucking up and game pieces flying every which way.

Typical commercial use of helicopters have been for clearing beside the power lines. They carry a long saw-blade studded power unit, that slices off protruding branches.

Also helicopters are typically used to fly above the pipelines, looking for leaks.
