Shoot it from the side, towards the belly, and the battery will likely ignite and cause complete failure. Quoting: Furtive I saw quite a few easily exploited vulnerability points. Solar recharge capability? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80783086 Given the information the public is allowed to digest, you would think that. Quoting: last one I can just see it now....a line of these mfers marching through the countryside. No vax pass, yer dead, If you have seen the first interview of Boston dynamic / darpa about big dog when first hit the internet, the motherfuckers clearly said: it is to hunt down people. Now think this connected to starlink and AI and you have autonomous killers robots that can see you from space and hunt you down. Most people don't even have a clue. Hell on earth. It's been foretold for centuries really, but back then they didn't know what they were witnessing in their prophecies. :memorybanner: |

How do they respond to certain frequencies? Being tripped up? Trip wires, both low and high? |

tamaracks User ID: 34769994 United States 10/13/2021 12:34 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71906749 They can producing more and more of these until you're ground down. Humans always lose against robots. Robots are overrated. They have short battery life, which limits their range and would likely only be used to defend a location that has charging stations. They would have very limited field operations because of that, and are not intelligent enough to work with humans in a squad. They can basically navigate and shoot, and that is all. Their ammunition supply is limited as well to reduce weight, so they will bug out home very quickly, another factor that limits their range and operational ability. They have to have maintenance, which removes perfectly good troops from the field to re-arm them and repair them. They are also dependent on a supply chain that is fragile, as we have seen recently. Certainly going to depend on parts from Taiwan, China and Israaaal. Men will always win over technology like this. Neverending swarms of robots. You don't get it. This is a worthless product that a defense contractor is trying to peddle to make a buck. That gun is fixed. It cannot shoot targets unless they are at its eye level. How will that robodog handle a patch of mud, a trench filled with water or a river? It won't. How will it behave in an ambush? It won't, because it only knows how to walk and shoot. There will never be swarms of these kinds of devices, as the military knows they have limited uses, so they will not buy them. You may think you are making a valid point, but you are not. See the video of the drone swarm in China designed to create a lighting display at night? A simple programming error and they all fail, falling from the sky. These things don't have the ability to learn or adapt. They cannot even shoot you if you are in a tree. They are worthless in combat. The dogs would be more for attracting a combatant while overhead drones locate and destroy the targets. They have the high ground up to orbit. |
