Someone Threw Out a Terra Cotta Firepit with Chimney. I'm Using it to Make Pizzas.

That was 360 Chocolate vodka with chocolate milk. A lot cheaper to make than the recipe below.

Those are called Chimneas. I don't know of any Mexicans that actually use those anymore. I never considered doing pizza in that.

I'm going to fasten a garbage bag around the opening with some bungee cords to keep rain and snow out of it. I don't want it to crack in the winter and it doesn't look fun to clean either.

If those were set up right, they would indeed make a great pizza oven. A small "brick oven". Good idea. Five of those could keep a reasonable sized pizza shop in business.

The large opening is a problem. I might make something that can cover most of it while I'm baking. That will take some MacGuyvering.

My friend introduced me to this so I made one for myself. It worked really well last night to keep the coals hot.

She's got a "secret" for cooking/browning the top of her pizza.

You can tell me....

A metal plate and she piles coals on top of it. If you can get a cast iron griddle it should work the same.

I'm beginning to wonder if I should turn my focus to using it to smoke meats and dry out herbs... Pizza is fun but I might like it more as a smoker... Choices... choices....
