I have a Question about a biblical reference I once heard regarding the fate of our loved ones who end up in Hell...

I remember hearing years ago that God will make those who go to heaven forget about their loved ones who end up in hell (so they wont feel sadness for their lost loved ones)l....

Have any one of you heard about this biblical concept?? or know if it's in the bible?? I remember hearing about this years ago and I have asked this question of several biblical scholars (I even wrote Jack Van Impe) and never gotten a reply from them...

There is no such place as hell. It's a state of mind.
 Quoting: Catnip

There is a spirit world with higher and lower planes. We go to the level or plane that matches our beliefs and spiritual development, in other words with others like ourselves. The planes of the cruel and selfish people, being filled only with others like themselves, are like hell.
Like attracts like in the afterlife. But everyone there will have the assistance and opportunity to learn from their previous mistakes and ascend to higher more pleasant areas and company as their understanding and feelings for others changes and improves, and those above, including family members, will assist those below.

Interesting diagrams here. Hell is not eternal.

Eternal progression
