Wait a minute, skippy. Is the lawn care company suppose to get the regulations regarding every tool they can and cannot use from the Property Owners Association? I think not. They have a job to do and if it involves a few minutes of making noise with a leaf blower, then they will use the leaf blower to make the job easier for themselves. If the job is easier then it takes less time which equates to lower rates. If the homeowner wants to pay additional fees for the lawn guys to rake the leaves, then that's ok with me. But I bet those lawn guys could care less about POA rules and regulations. They just want to get the job done as quickly as possible.

The Karen pissed them off and they reacted accordingly. They were just doing their job and the Karen should have accepted that fact. He could have closed his windows and turned on his air conditioner so the compressor could make the same kind of noise.

The worker on the truck needs to run his own landscape company, then maybe he will learn how to cultivate more business instead of chasing it away.

If he was an employee of my company I wouldn't be able to afford the liability insurance to cover any trouble he might get into. As soon as I would have caught wind of the intimidating actions of this one worker, he as well as the rest of the crew may have drawn their last pay from the company, as I didn't notice if anyone tried to stop him from getting triggered. The only way the worker would be retained would be if he was family to the boss, and he would have been reassigned to a job where he wouldn't be around customers or the public.

As I see it, if he had said before he jumped off the truck, "I quit" then the resident would only have grounds to sue the worker, had an altercation ensued. However, he was still on the clock, when pursuing the resident, intending to fight him, which would have allowed the resident to sue the company, as well as the worker who was drawing pay from the company.

It is actually imperative in a real fight because you'll get your shirt pulled up over your head rendering you effectively blind and then get the piss kicked out of you.
