Installment for today, Monday:

ASKING FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT

What can we learn from the life of Jesus?
Jesus claimed to be the Truth, Life and only
Way back to Father God. If we believe and put
our faith in Jesus then God forgives our
mistakes and gives us His Holy Spirit to live
within us and guide our lives. All we have to do
is believe in Jesus and ask God to give us His
Holy Spirit.


Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my
commandments.

Joh 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he
shall give you another Comforter, that he may
abide with you for ever;
Joh 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the
world cannot receive, because it seeth him not,
neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he
dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.


Jesus tells us here that God will give us
the Holy Spirit as a Comforter who will guide us
into all truth and live within us forever. God
knows that we need help to live right and so the
Holy Spirit speaks to us to help us make right
decisions. I will teach more about the work of
the Holy Spirit living in us, in later chapters.
