Re: All viruses are pparasites?
According to this and other sources, all viruses are obligate parasites.

[link to www.britannica.com (secure)]

Obligate parasites are parasites which depend on a host for survival.

Obligate parasites are parasites.

All viruses are obligate parasites.

All viruses are parasites.

Then why do we call them viruses?

Why don't we call them parasites?
 Quoting: SallyValentine

When germ theory was first created, the scientists at the time were against classifying the pathogen we now call viruses under the category of virus .... and instead wanted them to be classified as a division of parasites.

But there was a very big push from J.P. Morgan at the time to fund all those for germ theory that wanted the virus category, and to denounce those who wanted them to be classed as parasites.

When germ theory won the fight (because big money backed it and paid off all key individuals to make it happen) and viruses were in their own category, majority of the scientists at the time rebelled and called germ theory a bogus and unscientific theory. Those opposed to germ theory wanted the virus category abandoned and the parasitic category expanded, but they were ignored and called unprofessional and accused of causing sensationalism.

So they were probably 100% right.

If "viruses" are in fact parasites, then it would mean vaccines are completely unnecessary and that anti-parasitic medications should be used to treat all viral conditions (which explains why doctors told people "sorry we cant help you with a virus, just go home, rest, sleep, drink water and eat good food to recover in a few days"). It would also explain why "viruses" cause fevers just as bad as serious parasitic conditions.
 Quoting: Gordy7789

And, prior to germ theory's inclusion of "viruses", the only pathogens doctors treated were bacteria, fungi, and parasites. And they were all essentially treated the same way, a combination treatment that included silver water (a pure silver coin was boiled in water for nearly a whole day, then cooled, and the water would be called "silver water" and drank by the patient) and a tincture of either a naturally occurring antibiotic (like garlic) or anti-fungal/anti-parasitic (like papaya seeds).

Viruses are considered non living parasites, that can live on countertops. Once the virus enters the body and takes up residence in cells they replicate, and degenerate into parasites. A parasite needs a living host to survive, a virus lacks the capacity to thrive and reproduce outide of a host. That is why antibiotics won’t work on viruses, but will work on parasites.

Or, are viruses just parasites in the microscopic egg phase of its life?

OR are viruses bits of information, such as strands of rna or dna, extracted from the eggs of parasites?

Yes, so it would seem all life is dependent on all other life.

Bacteria, parasites and fungus are as important to the circle of life as are birds, bees and humans beings, etc.

It's all about balance.

The thing is, parasites can alter it's hosts dna.

Most animals can and do synthesize ascorbate, aka vitamin c.

Humans were able to do this a long time ago, but for some reason the gene which allows this process was "turned off" at some point during our evolution, allegedly 60 to 100 thousand years ago.

We still have that gene, it's just not doing it's thing.

The scientists call it a genetic mutation probably, and can't come up with any good reason for this gene to have been turned off, but it effects 100% of humans (and some monkeys, bats and guinea pigs).

I'm gonna blame it on a parasite.

Somehow, the inability to synthesize ascorbate in our bodies must be beneficial to an environment which supports some type of parasite.

What effect does this have on us?

I haven't been able to connect all the dots yet, but i suspect that there is some relationship between ascorbate and discernment.

Humans are so easily influenced by suggestion. Imagine if that wasn't the case.

If all viruses are parasites, then all viruses would be affected by the #1 de-wormer in the form of wormwood, quite possibly the most bitter substance on the planet. It creates an inhospitable environment for the parasites, and they flee via the intestines.

Manly Palmer Hall said that all metals are ... ALIVE. And grow. If that is true, then metals would also fall under the category of parasites. To no surprise, wormwood also works on mercury AND autism.

There was a doctor in Italy who said that all cancer was fungi related, meaning that it was entirely based upon the pH. Optimal range is around 7, like most plants. Once you get to 4, you start seeing cancer. When your pH gets too low, you die. His recommendation was to use baking soda, which is 100 times stronger than 7 with a pH of 9. It oxides the body internally and has a profound effect upon cancer.

Molecular parasite, yes.

virus isn't alive. It hijacks host DNA/RNA, and uses it to self-replicate - the very definition of "parasite"

Antiparasitic drugs attack the viral hijacking and self-replication. When you get into the biology of it, it's very clear that anti-parasitics work on viruses for the same reasons they are effective against parasites. . .

Similar reasons why anti-parasitics also are highly effective against multiple forms of cancers, bringing many cancers that are resistant to normal therapies into full remission in many cases. . .

There are many reasons they are trying to block anti-parasitic drugs. . .

Actually, all the chemicals in the air, food and water help the parasites.

In fact, livestock raised for human consumption are given an anti parasitic medicine called fenbenzadole.

That stuff causes them no harm, and it's been determined that it would not harm humans.

But animals headed for slaughter must go through a "withdrawal" period before they can become food.

In other words, we are not allowed to eat them until all the fenbenzadole, which is harmless to us but kills parasites, is gone from their bodies.

Why is that?
