My message to anybody who wants to become a writer: Write. Every single day. And if you can do that, you already are a writer. ~Wharf Rat |

Before I ever began I told myself, quality through quantity. Like sifting for flakes of gold. The more you sift -- the more you write -- the more gold you're going to find. And that's not even a metaphor ~Wharf Rat |

Force yourself to do it, because over time the pleasure overwhelms inertia, and you'll be writing from a position of desire rather than dread. It might take several days, but it's worth it. This is serious advice, for those with ears to hear and eyes to see. Last Edited by Wharf Rat on 10/03/2021 11:39 AM ~Wharf Rat |

Quoting: 2 McDoubles Hate to break it to you, 2 McDoubles, but that's nearly the best opening sentence to a novel I've ever never read. Dang!
