Do you have Stents?

I have one stent and take Metoprolol plus cholesterol meds and low dose aspirin. Not really any issues with them, however I have other blockages- 100% blockage and not a candidate for surgery (due to less than 38% success rate) but my heart miraculously grew its own bypass, and another 45% blockage cardiologist keeps an eye on.

I can't do everything I used to do as quickly- have to take things slow- but I still can DO them. If I start feeling a tightening or start to get out of breath I either stop or slow down for a minute and then keep right on trucking.

Just went for yearly with cardiologist one week ago today. Got the thumbs up for another year.

I have had a couple of MRIs since I got stent and it didn't cause any problems. I have heard that people who have taken the vaxx have been told NOT to get an MRI for several months. To me this lends credence to their being some sort of metallic particles in the vaxx. Since I haven't been vaxxed I don't know personally.

My husband has 2 stents in the widow maker he hasnt had any issues he has had them for about 7 years. He takes a full strength aspirin and plavix and two cholesterol lowering drugs..

My mom has a stent, I didn't know you could take them out? Can you?

She hasn't had too much trouble, but had claimed there's a little pain or congestion there at times???

She acted weird on Plavix, so we had to take her off of it and just had her on aspirin for a year, and that's about it, but she's always been on several BP meds.

I had a small stroke in 2016, they did a heart cath and put in 3 stents a year later I had another stent put in. I also have cardiovascular disease. I’m on, plavix, Crestor, cardivadol, low grade aspirin, Ranexa. I still have a small blocked artery so I still get chest pains if I do to much or stressed out. I move slowly and have to be careful of my left leg from the stroke. Oh ya, bp meds for my high blood pressure and diabetic meds as well.

Beyond that I’m hanging in there, and the meds help me so I stay on them.
