used BOA for 20 years, but withdrew everything in early 2020. I figured they would do something like this, and then they started closing branches near me, so I got out.

Go to a local credit union.

I'm so glad I moved most of my money to 2 other banks...

I only do credit unions. My local one is the only bank from Sw Washington to Tacoma that gives raw land loans. Love them

Last 2 days it was Verizon, today they hand the reins to BOA. Next?

They just got sued too, I got a class action letter yesterday. they got hot for all the bs overdrafts and shifty charges, it says i will get a settlement once case is finished, it was something like 70 million they owed back to customers.

They need the money. They'll pay it back to you soon.

BOA will be converting to a system that uses FLEXA and the AMP token soon ( EOY 2022 ), a few leaks of the application they're working on have slipped during presentations very recently.

The system basically prevents all forms of overdrafts, allows converting/spending all digital assets, also includes reward/loyalty points being converted to USD or other digital assets. Fraud and charge backs are eliminated as well. I'm no fan of the corporate politics, but these fees will be a thing of the past soon and so will many jobs that deal with this part of the business.
