I was just thinking and noticing that exact same thing here in Wisconsin the past few days!

Mid-Michigan here. Nothing in the sky today... yet. Earlier this week was much more active. Have been noticing them at night too and above the natural cloud cover. I've always kept my head in the clouds and growing up near an airport would always watch what was going on and never remember seeing skies like we have now.

I like to augment the photos within lightroom and recently started making them black n white, which makes them more ominous. I can't find it but I had a shot once that showed two jets, one was a regular contrail, dissipating, the other was a chem.

I saw some yesterday and this morning and they were REALLY low. I thought, man those are MUCH lower than I remember.

I'm in the Triangle area of NC. I noticed it was pretty heavy for a couple days in a row, about 1 week ago. It hasn't been consistent here though. Lots of clear days.
