The most memorable time for me was when I was doing some arc welding in my garage.
I grabbed 5 rods from under the bench.
Put 1 in the stinger, 2 in my back pocket, and the other 2 I placed on an old folded up blanket
that was on the bench so they wouldn't get oil on them or roll off whatever.
I burned up the 3 I had on me.
Chipped the welds, then went to grab the other 2.
They were not there.
I looked on the blanket, under it, I even shook it.
Gone!
I'm like wtf?
So I grabbed 2 more from under the bench and finished what I was doing.
I got done, cleaned up, started cleaning off the bench putting tools away and what not.
Sureasfuck those 2 rods were back on that folded up blanket,
Right where I set them and just looked for them not 10 minutes earlier.
