I'm seeing this everywhere now. They aren't firing people, but suspending them without pay. A sort of limbo land. This means they are obviously afraid of lawsuits. They aren't confident legally with their position. Which means the whole thing is underhanded and a bit slimy.

People need to take note of all the hospitals doing this.. the people in charge.. the administration .. because they are prob owned/controlled by TPTB..

Let’s think about it - no real hospital (meaning one that is a genuine business for profit) would willingly commit suicide.

Confirmed. The woman that runs all those hospitals told me last week there is a worker crisis with her hospitals because most will not get vaxxed. Just last we we spoke because our family got very sick with Covid so I called her.

Oh yeah we went to school together and have kept in touch since.

I don't understand how they can not collect unemployment when they are being fired and have paid into that system for years. I hope they all liquidate their retirement 401 k at the same time to screw the system that screws them.

Just heard that in NY and Michigan they are hiring staff from the Philippines to fill the jobs

I am in the NY area, and my wife can't get an appt. for her regular physical with her regular doc. They offer only a nurse practitioner. The regular docs are overbooked.

Philippines. Very soulful people, there were a lot of them working as immigrant farmworkers in the 1920's and 30's, not sure they're the best source of doctors.

We need to also take into account that filipinos in general tend to smell like shit.

So how is that going to work? If someone is suspended without pay but not fired I assume the company has to give that person their job back if the suspended employee complies with whatever they got suspended over? Will the company just not hire a replacement for the suspended employee? Will they fire the replacement if the suspended employee returns?

If you’re put on suspension without pay and you rectify the reason you were suspended (but not fired) and you return back to your job and your employer says sorry, we already filled your job, do you have legal recourse?

This is why we need decertification ASAP, the nation will collapse if this goes on.

I know a covid RN. All she does is take care of covid patients at the local hospital. She won't get the vax. She told me that half the people in ICU with it are vaccinated. Half are not. Florida had 50 percent compliance rate with the vaccine. She said that the propaganda that the vax will keep you out of the hospital is pure fiction.

not only in the healthcare industry, Biden has delivered a death blow to the Economy with the mandates, Private corporations have the power to stop it and must if they want to remain profitable but on the other hand Biden wants their profits too so i am not really understanding why they have not revolted against the Mandate unless there are back door deals ($$$) happening behind the scenes that we don't know about yet? it just does not pass the smell test here?? think about it, most were screaming for workers before the mandate and now they must fire employees they can't afford to lose!!

Speciality areas of the hospitals can not be replaced as easily as the NY Governor thinks.

It takes more than a year after formal schooling to work in OR's. cath labs, labor and delivery and more.

Those area would require peak performance of out of country nurses to close the holes.

the Hospital my wife works in is not doing terminated letters
at all they are just removing the unvaxxed from the work schedules, those who have tried to come in anyway have been shown the door by security, if a company just say's or indicates we have no work for you without giving a termination letter, those workers imo should be eligible for for unemployment period!!

The arrogant SOB politicians just seem to assume that with mandates everyone will comply to keep their jobs. They did not even consider that some nurses/doctors/teachers/police, etc. will walk instead, putting people at risk for health reasons and violence.
