Is anyone else noticing what is going on with Brian Laundrie from the Gabby Petito case? Bryan Riley also from Florida.

""What makes you so sure he even killed her?
Where is the PROOF that he is the murderer?
I mean, the circumstances certainly seem to point in that direction, but I haven't seen any definitive PROOF that he was the murderer and wasn't set up.
Just a mefia blitz convicting him without a trial.""
No body is ""sure"He killed her. Proof is decided by the courts not the police. Police make an arrest on suspicion based on evidence, not proof. The courts decide if the evidence is viable.
Some of the evidence shows that Mr Laundrie drove the white van back to Flordia. Video evidence shows the same van was in the vincinity of where the body was found. This puts Laundrie a short distance away from where the body was found.
Evidence shows that the relationship was rocky and sometimes violent
Evidence shows Mr Laundrie retained a lawyer immediately after returning to Flordia then fleeing any police interviews, Which demonstrates,""Mens rea"" a guilty mind.
Last person with the deceased.
Did not report Gabby missing
None of this is proof enough to convict Mr Laundrie on its own. However it strongly suggests He was involved in her disappearance.
Further questioning by police is necessary to establish a charge of murder against him. Maybe Mr Laundrie has a perfectly good explanation for everything. No problem. If everything checks out and the detective's are content that he is telling the truth, they let him go. But if his story doesnt wash and cannot be confirmed, and if he lied to detectives He may be facing murder charges. As of right now, He is not being charged with her murder.Police need to speak with him to clear him, or charge him.
The fact that the van he was driving was so close to the where the body was found is pretty damming. Maybe he has a really good explanation, but I doubt it.
