Two people on The View tested positive for the coronavirus moments before Vice President Kamala Harris was to join the live show to discuss vaccine boosters and the Biden administration's pandemic response.

After starting to introduce Harris, host Joy Behar cut to a commercial break. Upon returning to the air, Behar explained that two people appearing that day had tested positive for the virus despite being vaccinated "up the wazoo." Guest Ana Navarro and host Sunny Hostin were no longer on the set.
