Nova Scotia massive forest fires- What you weren't told while your homes were burning down.

A team of retired professional highly trained experienced DNR forest fire fighters fought with the NS Gov to be deployed to raging forest fires for 4 days last week. The Government turned them down repeatedly. Meanwhile the public was told by the premier they were desperate for workers. Now the gov is bringing in forest fire fighters with zero experience fighting fires in the Acadian forest region. It is truly a failure in policy, politics, management at the director levels and above, and leadership. People need to be held accountable. The men on the ground however did exemplary work.

B.C. officials push back against safe supply critics and their 'polarizing rhetoric'

VICTORIA — British Columbia officials have sought to rebut claims that drugs prescribed through the province's safe supply program aimed at curbing overdoses are being re-sold to young people, helping fuel the deadly drug toxicity crisis.

Asked to comment, a spokesman for Poilievre shared links to recent media stories, saying they "directly challenge" the "allegations" made by the B.C. officials.

The three officials expressed concern over the "polarization" of safe supply and other harm-reduction measures.

Charlesworth told the news conference they were "standing together, saying fear-based, polarizing rhetoric that is not evidence-informed is causing harm."

More than 12,400 people have died from overdoses since the B.C. government declared a health emergency in 2016.

In 2005, Canada’s share of global emissions was 1.8%. By 2019, our share had declined to 1.5%. Most of that decline took place under a Conservative government and without a carbon tax.

Even the government of Canada admits on their website that our share of global emissions is set to decline due to rising emissions elsewhere:

“Like that of other economically developed countries, Canada’s share is anticipated to continue to decline due to the expected rapid increase in emissions from economically developing and emerging countries, particularly China (+71.7% from 2005 to 2019), India (+71.3%), Brazil (+16.2%), and Indonesia (+37.9%).”

I want you to really keep that in mind, because it tells you something very important. The Canadian government knows that anything Canada does in terms of emissions will be cancelled out many times over by growth in other nations.

Secret memo shows Trudeau gov’t knew about COVID vaccine injuries and strategized to allay fears

'Adverse effects following immunization, news reports and the government’s response to them have the potential to shake public confidence in the COVID-19 vaccination rollout,' the Privy Council Office noted while stressing the importance of developing 'winning communications strategies' to convince Canadians the shots were safe.

An office tasked with assisting Prime Minister Justin Trudeau knew COVID shots caused serious injuries and to combat the negative side effects of the vaccines said in a secret memo in 2021 “winning communication strategies” must be developed to convince the public to take the jabs.

The memo was released through an “Access to Information” request dated May 2021, which is about five months after Health Canada approved the use of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID shots.

The Canadian federal government and all provincial governments spent millions promoting the COVID shots despite the fact they were novel and approved for “emergency” use only.

Furthermore, the memo also suggested fudging the statistics of COVID jab deaths and injuries through wordplay, such as stating the “chance of it happening to me (COVID shot injury) is one in a million” instead of “it has happened five times.”

Other marketing terms the government looked at using were “The chance of a Canadian being injured in a car accident” was higher than a “vaccine injury,” and “As tragic as they are, such health events occur every day whether or not people are vaccinated.”

CBC excludes top mayoral candidate Anthony Furey from televised debate

The Toronto division of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) hosted a televised debate for Toronto’s leading mayoral candidates and excluded one of the race’s top candidates.

Mayoral candidate Anthony Furey’s campaign has been gaining support in recent weeks as shown by recent public opinion polls, passing other Toronto politicians with name recognition.

The lack of invitation came despite the CBC recently writing an article conceding that Furey has been gaining ground and edging out several high-profile rivals.
