The spike protein is what causes the health problems.

Both Covid and Covid vaccine will create the spike protein in the body.

Re: Could Covid cause myocarditis?
The symptoms fit so it is possible. Have either of you had any swelling of hands or feet, arms or legs? If so you might want to schedule with your physician.

If either or both of you have it you might have to take meds for a while (depending on severity) but if not severe it will usually solve itself with time. Stay away from salty stuff as much as possible.

I'm a heart patient and have had covid, I'm still kicking so the odds are good you will both be okay- but play it safe and see your doctor.

I appreciate all the comments on my thread!

I have noticed a correlation with my episodes and salty foods, so I have cut my salt intake down. I have not had any swelling although I was having pain in one of my calves one day. I am not too worried. I don't think this will kill either of us. I guess it could, but I don't think it will. It was just an observation that the covid virus could cause these same problems.

Weaponized snake venom can cause all sorts of symptoms.

The "Vaxx" is the 2 punch of the 1-2 punch combination that lays one out.

Since Covid has been and is here to stay, and the "vaxx" doesn't protect one from anything.

I expect lots and lots of negative consequences.

Too many carbs and fat...If people would eat right, that would go away...
 Quoting: BRIEF

Geeze. Could y’all at minimum do more research?

Carbs alone do not cause every single issue. And y’all get dumber than dirt when you cut out to zero fat.

You. Need. Real. Fat.

Fuuuuck.

Carry on. Good luck.

Of course you need good fats, that's not what I said at all...The word "TOO" means excess, in this context...

Normies can’t comprehend that. Toooooo subtle. Specifics.

Reading comprehension is at an all time low.

i think you had the original reading comprehension problem, with this conversation.

Re: Could Covid cause myocarditis?
I see a lot of threads on here claiming that the vaccine causes myocarditis, but have you ever considered that Covid might be causing myocarditis? I don't mean in the acute phase, but perhaps on re-exposure or possibly as a long term side effect of Covid? I have come to these conclusions after my own personal experiences with Covid and a little research.

My daughter had Covid twice since this pandemic began, both times with symptoms that were barely more than a cold. Naturally this made me question the severity of this virus, especially given that I either did not get the virus or had very mild symptoms as well. However, a few months ago I started having 'episodes' during which I would become extremely fatigued to the point of having to lay down that moment and then having my heart flutter around in my chest, almost feeling as though it were in my throat. It was also difficult to breathe during these episodes. Around this time I would also randomly feel dizzy and have sharp chest pains. My daughter reported similar symptoms. I can't say this was myocarditis, but I did start wondering what this could be. I attributed it to stress, anxiety. However, then I came across an Army doctor who mentioned myocarditis. I had never heard of it, so I did a basic Google search and looked at the first link, one from Mayo Clinic. [link to www.mayoclinic.org (secure)]

If you read down far enough, to the 'Causes' section, you may be surprised to see that the first cause listed is viruses, and Covid is right there in the list:

Causes
Often, the cause of myocarditis isn't identified. There are many potential causes but the risk of developing myocarditis is rare.

Potential causes of myocarditis include:
Viruses. Many viruses are commonly associated with myocarditis, including the viruses that cause the common cold (adenovirus);
COVID-19; hepatitis B and C; parvovirus, which causes a mild rash, usually in children (fifth disease); and herpes simplex virus.

Gastrointestinal infections (echoviruses), mononucleosis (Epstein-Barr virus) and German measles (rubella) also can cause myocarditis.
It's also common in people with HIV, the virus that causes AIDS.

I know this is an old post but please DM me if you are in southern Ohio, northern Kentucky or southeastern Indiana and need a cardiologist. I hope that regardless of the cause of the issue that you are doing better now.
