Obviously 24-16 = 8 days, however, with 7 days being 1 week, the 8th day is the start of the 2nd week. Much like 60 seconds being 1 minute, and 61 seconds means for that 1 second you're on the 2nd minute.

if you look at a calendar, and lets say Sunday started on the 1st, then following Sunday (8 days later) would be starting the 2nd week.

So it's within reason to say something that is 8 days later falls into the "2 more weeks" meme.

I'm curious as to how the machine will spin this.

It will have to be addressed, or MSM will literally lose their entire audience.
