We are witnessing a change in Warfare Technology the importance of which has only happened a few times in history.

Drone Warfare has already changed the battlefield ... most just don't know it yet since they have not yet seen it in operation.

The Chinese are LEAP YEARS ahead of the US in the development and deployment of MASSED AI DRONES and because of that it is highly likely that in any conflict that starts in the next 10 years the Chinese would win and the US would lose, and lose very quickly.

The institutionalized Corporate/Military (Military Industrial Complex) exists in the US for the basic purpose of those two groups being able to scratch each other's back and make MONEY MONEY MONEY off of the taxpayers. Neither of those groups care about the changes that have ALREADY OCCURED in warfare with MASSED Drone Technology since it doesn't fit their "Profit Matrix". Defense Contractors in the US are more concerned about MAKING MONEY than in making products that are actually functional and will work on the battlefield.

Good post and good videos - though they barely scratch the surface of how effective AI drones already are at killing or destroying targets once they are released from the constraints of human control.

Never forget ... the Pentagon is filled with Neanderthal Thinkers. It has been that way since the early 1950's so it is mentally ill prepared to prepare for or fight the NEW type of war that now exists.

We've known about high explosive wielding AI swarms for at least a year, it's obvious that Defense Contractors building capability pays more than gamers or cars.

Large autonomous drones = easy targets

Nano-scale autonomous (self-replicating) drones (aka "viruses") = high chance of breaking down (aka "mutating") and losing their designed functionality

The perfect drones (for the purpose of exterminating soft targets, aka humans) are, therefore:
a) bullet-sized,
b) equipped with fully autonomous AI system,
c) with titanium-hard armor,
d) can fly at half the speed of light (with a micro black hole-powered "energy source", aka matter-to-energy converter), and
e) can be manufactured in billions, if not trillions of units, in extremely short time (in a year or two tops, of which the second year has already almost passed)

Their method of killing?

They just fly through your skull, and then proceed to the next target as if they've just flown though nothing but empty air.

They are a perfect killing swarm machine that can't be stopped by other drone swarms (due to their sheer speed), and can kill 100% of any idiots who try to step a foot outside of their D.U.M.B. without piloting at least an equally well titanium-armored (and fully isolated from the outside environment in order to avoid nano-scale robot swarms/"viruses") battle vehicle... aka a Battletech robot.

We're getting right there, to that point, with just a few thousand (appropriately named) D.U.M.B. survivors left alive on the whole planet... and even them not for much longer afterwards -- for a generation or two, at most -- until all of their (irreplaceable) technology breaks down, and they're forced to come up to the surface, where all those billions of drones will still be swarming the air, the ground, and the sea, and will continue to look for (human) targets for centuries after their original designers had all been killed by them.

It's not that hard to predict the most probable future.

Just think of all the shitty ones, and then pick the shittiest among them. That one!
