[link to m.youtube.com (secure)] I just watched part of the auto suggested video after the one you posted.. He was talking about eye exercises. So, I tried looking at something that was blurry about 8 feet away and crossed/uncrossed my eyes a couple of times. My right eye actually focused correctly for a split second! [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] This works wonders for me. Im 58 now and stopped wearing reading glasses several years ago after learning an exercise while developing my meditation skills. Simply sit and cross your eyes about half way and keep them relaxed in an unfocused way... it's takes alot of concentration to intentionally stay unfocused in your vision. After a few minutes you will notice that your brain starts to see things different in front of you... as you start to blend both eye's on the own, not focusing them into a point.... If successful, you will start to see 3D ish, kind of things... if you go into a meditative state then you may see hologram types of scenes overlayed in front of your regular vision. After discovering this meditation technique i realized I had been exercising my eye's in a different way and ended up having 20.15 vision when I had them checked out a few months later. And for anyone interested, it's kind of a sacred geometry exercise with regards to the vesica pisces. Each eye represents a 'circle' of vision'....side by side... when you cross your eyes, cross your vision so that both eyes overlap to the center.... that makes a vesica pisces range of vision.... both eye's seeing individually at the same time, overlapping, making a third and new focal point... the combination of 2 overlapping visual ranges, creating a 'third'. In that 'third' area, when the brain syncs up to that new 'focus' you will see things you don't normally do with regular focus. Besides, that, yes... it will heal your vision. Yeah, I've practiced this before actually. Remember in the early 90's when people were at malls staring at those random looking posters and there were people who could 'see it' and those who couldn't? I think what you're describing is just that. Stereoscopic images and the viewers' control over the focus of their eyes. I do think I need a further horizon to zone out on though also. Time to open some curtains and look out the windows for eye therapy. Pretty much since I've been working from home full time due to you know what. I suspect it's down to the fact that I'm no longer driving an hour to and from work. Driving focuses eyes a long way in the distance. I have only been focusing on my screen and pretty much near things for all this time. With little driving in the last 18 months, I'm guessing my eyes just aren't getting any long focussing. I try to look out of the window every now and then, but it just ain't happening as much as if I was out driving and focussing on cars and people off in the distance. Never thought I'd miss the daily heavy traffic commute..... Will try these exercises mentioned. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80364149 There are lots of exercises for eye muscles, One exercise I have found helps is stretching the eye muscles by looking as far to the right possible, hold, and then left, helps to close one eye and focus on stretching one at a time in either direction. I believe this helps because when we read on a screen/book our eyes are focused inwards, almost cross eyed vs outwards at a landscape and this sets the muscles that way, making it harder to focus. |

I can read the house number across the street with my right eye now! I think I've just been experiencing eye strain from staring at my computer screen too much. ```````````````` ````__/\__`````` ~~~\____/~~~~ .~~..~~~....~~~ ~..~~~....~~~~ Thoughts do not come from you nor God; you do not create thoughts; you are not your thoughts; every thought is a lie. - 2 Corinthians 10:5 - [link to www.biblegateway.com (secure)] |

At sundown face east and watch sun set. This will entrain your circadian rhythms which wi double your vitamin d and help you sleep better. You might also try to get as much morning sun if you can or buy a red light device to shine in your eyes. You could buy a vielight red light thingie; it will direct the red light into your brain via your nose. [link to www.vielight.com (secure)] Also try microcurrent. This will put more atp in your brain cells and is shown to be a promising treatment for vision loss. You could buy a cheap device on amazon. Take a cotton round and wet it with some water. Hold this on your forehead then take the device and put it over it to conduct. You can also try spraying your forehead with some water or a skincare product like rose water but the product may run into your eyes. Try to hold the device on your forehead for 15 minutes. Start very close to the candle and force your eye to ‘resolve’ it as close as you can. As you step back, make sure your focus is always on the flame. You will want to work up to about 10-15 feet away. You will feel the practice getting easier. Focusing on something close to your face is hard, and will get easier. Then, you will be able to focus on even closer objects. Much like the rest of your body, it adapts to your needs |

(OP) User ID: 77825331 United States 09/29/2021 08:48 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | So, my vision has gotten better. But here's the reason: I was actually sick with some bug but didn't realize it. That bug cleared completely on Monday, and my vision was back to normal. This extends back to February 2020 when I got what I believe was covid-19. No way to prove it because there is no antibody test. One of the last symptoms I experienced was later in the evening I couldn't see straight. Anyway, my right eye is doing a lot better now, but I still feel 'pressure' behind it. Figured I'd pass along an update for anyone interested.
