How many dead?

I was just discussing this with my husband and we have been doing the math on the covid deaths in our area. We live in San Diego county. We have an estimated 126,000 people collectively being newly diagnosed on a daily basis according to the media, we have a daily report of almost 4 thousand people daily dying from infection and we are wondering 2 very important overlooked points.
#1. Where are all these dead people? The morgues aren't filled to the brim, no big refrigerated trucks in parking lots that I've seen. So where are they?
#2. Why is there still so many traffic delays? U would think that with the population on a steady decline there would be less traffic, but I feel like I've seen more accidents than ever since covid began.

What are ur thoughts on this?
