A new swarm has started NW US. OP, "HOLLOW" has info. Wonder if that's were Valentin Troll and the other Volcanologist is headed. Didn't they mention Mt.St.Helens in the video in the car yesterday. Got to find it and watch that again.

By all metrics (lava fountains, tremors, earthquakes and gas emissions) the eruption is once again on a declining trend in activity.. details here.

Any chance we can ALSO keep an eye on the developments
on the WEST COAST of the U.S. while La Palma is taking
a break?

Just a suggestion...I know this is OFF TOPIC from the
LaPalma volcano (and its risks for the EAST COAST)...
However, NOW we have a major quake swarm off the coast
of Oregon on the WEST COAST. (MOST are 250 miles off the
coast of New Port, Oregon--a beautiful little town I
used to wait tables in when in college...hope they fair
o.k. in this "event" if it is an event.)

This is a very STARK WARNING from Ben Davidson who is
usually very cautious about being extremist when it comes
to giving ANY warnings. This time LISTEN TO HIS WORDS
and his tone of voice in the first 3 minutes of the video.

GeologyHub guy has basically shown that when there are 5 or more 3+ mag EQ's between 30-43 km there will be an uptick in eruptive activity about a week later (5-8 days).

This bores out from less than five 3+ mag EQ's on Nov 30th which resulted in significant decreased activity the last 2-3 days.

The question is, at what level of eruptive activity can we expect a week from now?

Hoping for none, but thank you for the good reporting!

Bright fresh hot lava don't know where it's coming from other than the obvious the ground.

Can we have a wolcano update? What is it doing? Livefeed shows lot of lava still coming out.

Bright for sure. It looks somewhat like a couple nights last week when all that was seen was eerie-looking red smoke behind a ridge with occasional red flickering.

The lava can ignite when crossing asphalt which contains petroleum product.

Lava this week is passing over old flows (1400's), from before La Palma was populated.
