IMHO, the Sleep Number beds are more hype than reality. We bought one, cause I wanted to be able to adjust the firmness, and hubs wanted to be able to adjust the head/feet, etc.

So now, 3 years later I kind of hate it! I mean, the “head & feet” adjustments are fine, but I was sorely disappointed to find that the “firmness and softness” is achieved on an AIR MATTRESS! That’s all the stupid is - an air mattress wrapped in - essentially - FOAM!!!

$4,000 for a AIR AND FOAM BED. I wish I’d researched a bit more. I’d probably have bought just the adjustable bed (different company). Then I wouldn’t feel bad about now contemplating buying a supplemental mattress to put on top.

I think it was too much money for what you get.

I've been watching this feed that you posted last night.
It's got the spectro running. I keep trying to correlate between hearing a deep rumble sound which seems to bump seconds after hearing it on the spectro graph.

of the largest GRB's (and long-duration twin-pulse) reported

This time of year--and going into the weeks of December--
seem to be prime-time for large gamma ray bursts for some
reason. One of the largest ever recorded gamma ray bursts
hit us December 24, 2004 and caused a huge quake and
tsunami (WITHOUT A LANDSLIDE--just the quake) with epicenter
in Banda Atche Sumatra. The event caused over 1/4 million
deaths and affected dozens of coastal countries in that
area of Asia. Dr. Paul Laviolette believed it was definitely
the result of "spaceweather" and has an article you can
still find on his "Etheric dot com" website.

ALL THE PARAMETERS INDICATE THE SAME, A GREAT MAGMA MOVEMENT AND A CHANGE IN ERUPTIVE DYNAMIC.- NEW WASHES IN THE NORTH AND NEXT TO THE NORTH OF THE TODOQUE MOUNTAIN.- "We were few and the grandmother gave birth" - The truth is that this post is difficult to write, what I am seeing in the data and in the volcano is not very hopeful, on the contrary, it is showing me a change in its eruptive dynamics. What does this mean? I am going to try to explain it with all the data and what is there so that it is clearly understood, but basically that we have a volcano for a while, for a long time, more than a month, months or even years. It will be the longest and most historic on La Palma. The longest of the archipelago is Lanzarote with 6 years between 1730-1736, so I have to contemplate this possibility, it is the worst of the expected scenarios. Sorry, I can't say it any other way, I go by parts:

THE DEFORMATION: If I had a gravimetry of the area, this could be better confirmed, but the data from LP06 and especially LP05 indicate a subsidence, which clearly has a very clear reading, the depressurization wave of the magma due to the opening of the eruptive point it has reached those points in depth, or to put it another way, the roots that feed the eruptive cone have reached there. When you pump water, the influence of the pump goes a long way, because it is the same thing.

What happens is the same as what I learned in oil fields that are pressurized by oil and gases, such as Burgan in Kuwait with 11kg / cm2 at the wellhead, is that when they explode (the oil came out without bomb) lower their pressure (in 2015 it was between 3 and 4kg / cm2 and they had to put bombs) and this caused subsidence in the desert of several meters. Now I see the same thing, and it is gravity that drives it, or what is the same, the weight of the island presses that magma so that it comes out like a grain of pus that you squeeze, gravity is what squeezes what it implies that the magma will keep coming out for a long time until the outlet conduit and the underground drainage network that feeds it is closed or blocked.

At the beginning the magma rose by a lower density and an overpressure when depressurizing in depth, generating a pressure on the surface, now the change in dynamics indicates another behavior, drainage, now it is draining magma and that can be a long time and a lot of quantity through from an impressive system of conduits of several tens of kilometers around the eruptive point., 3 days ago I arrived at LP05. If I had a detailed gravimetry I could even calculate the volume of magma that moves, which must be a lot ... to generate a 5 cm sink when draining material more than 30 km deep.

In the LP03 station we have had an overpressure during the last days that indicates that the system is more pressurized in the outlet duct, although it seems that it drops a little, it does not drop to the previous point, indicating otherwise, the flow is still very big and tall and with a tendency to increase for almost two weeks, explaining a little what happened today.

TREMOR AND GASES:
The high gas reading, about 40,000 tons of SO2 per day (between 30,000 and 50,000), a stupid thing, indicates the arrival of new fresh magma, which corresponds to the deformation and tremor of which it tells us some more things. It was going down and the wave of new material has arrived causing the eruption of wash 18 that devastated the cemetery due to excess pressure. After this, the tremor was slowly rising, when it suddenly fell, indicating a plugging in the main conduit at the base of the cone or somewhat lower, and the magma has sought the easiest area to exit, right at the base of the cone. , with what it has pressurized, it has opened the dike more and finally it has made its way to the outside causing what we have seen this morning. And the gases will be responsible for provoking new columns of ash and pyroclasts through the gas chimneys, which appear to be the same.

EARTHQUAKES AND SEISMIC ENERGY.
The rebound in seismic energy in recent hours only confirms this, I do not have detailed seismic maps, but if you look a little, the deep seismicity occurs northeast of Cumbre Vieja between the Town and in the direction of Mazo, while that the superficial one occurs under the Old Summit. Also today as a novelty there are earthquakes between both chambers, between 20 and 30 km, indicating a change in pressure on the way or more magma on the way.

As if that were not enough, the system is becoming predictable, with a new pattern of deep earthquakes every 3 days, about 70-72h that has already been repeated 3 times and although it seems that at the moment it is decreasing in magnitude, I do not trust. We will see if there is no other important one in the next few hours, it lacks energy to release.

LAVA WASHES:
The 6 mouths that vomited lava since this morning have formed a small cone and that join to go down the slope (I have called it as wash 19) and reaches the north edge of the field of old casts, following that north edge, having already passed The road from Tacande towards La Laguna, which you will reach in 24-48-72h depending on the supply of material and hoping that it will stop sooner. If it does not stop, it will continue leaving through the school area in the Laguna towards Tazacorte and from there towards the ocean bordering the Laguna Mountain to the north, towards the other cemetery and soccer field, my mother, where it will arrive in about 4-7 days.

CONCLUSION:
This volcano is surprising me, especially because I know its geology everywhere, from the galleries to its history and its formation, but what I am experiencing I did not expect even in dreams, it is a bastard that when it has gone to stop, it has changed not to die and the play has gone well.

What still worries me now is that it will do as it did in 1949, that it suddenly stops due to a plugging in the conduit and that the pressure shock of all that moving magma causes the conduit to rupture and the material to escape from another site , with three possibilities:
1.- a shallow plugging in the upstream duct in the El Paso area in hours (12- 72h)
2.- a deeper plugging that directly causes the opening of the Cumbre Vieja Ridge with material coming out of the upper part in the Nambroque area in Cumbre Vieja where it should take longer, between 48 and 144 hours (2-6 days)
3.- other options with opening on the other hand in the areas where magma migrates, which I have not raised.

I realized what could be happening this morning when I saw the data, it is not something that is sudden, it comes out, I did not know how to say it ... it could last for years ... it is terrible ... it is the pessimistic scenario, but I hope a more realistic one that stops in 1-3 months, yes before 3 weeks not for sure, that would be the most optimistic. The truth is that it is very difficult to know what it will do and I can only give indications of what it can do by seeing what we have had before in the archipelago.

I very much encourage the clappers, I am going to see if I make some maps of the lava flows and put them in the answers in a while.
