I remember the Slide's simulation shown a lot of eruptions along the Cumbre Vieja in a straight line to the south

She's too quiet.

These "vents" are all part of Cumbre Vieja...it the one volcano in southern La Palma...the caldera is to the north but it's dormant.... The problem is in multiple vents opening means a longer and more intense eruption in all probability and for the rest of the World more potential destabilization of the already weakened Western flank of La Palma...

This is what has bothered me from the moment I saw this video simulation from a National Geographic TV special that aired at that time. It featured our volcanology researchers who have been obviously silenced, Simon Day and Steven Ward. These two guys have done much research on LaPalma and we have heard nothing from them on the very issue of their concern for many years. One of our GLP members emailed Professor Day with no response from him in return. I mean, why would these experts promote such a simulation video if this is not something they know about that could take place. Surely they have knowledge of the underground plumbing of the volcano.

I just asked mine in English "when will the tsunami hit the US east coast?"

It answered in Spanish "lo siento no lo sé" (I'm sorry, I don't know).

First time I've ever seen it mix languages, it has always responded in whatever language a request or question was made in. So "I don't know" is not odd but the response itself was.
