The real bomb is the actual story behind the story of Harvey Weinstein's fall. Miramax was something like Netflix at this time, one of Intel's most prolific tools for their collusively-produced films. But Harvey messed up with his 1995 "My Life So Far", set in the Scottish Highlands and scandalising Christians as perverts. In the film credits at the end, he placed a screen-wide statement, "This film is dedicated in loving memory to Ian Charleson", the gay actor who played the Christian Olympics runner Eric Liddell in "Chariots Of Fire". Eric Liddell had died of AIDS five years earlier, in 1990. Harvey had overstepped his Intel asset boundaries already when he was awarded the CBE (Commander of the British Empire, one level below "sir" which Mick Jagger received one year prior) from baron Lord Michael Levy in 2004. Lord Levy was PM Tony Blair's Middle East policy architect and when it turned out that Weinstein had purchased the award ("cash for honours", i you wish to research this), Lord Levy was arrested - twice - and as things go, the Prime Minister's planned trajectory to one of the three EU presidencies was derailed. There were rumours that the three positions were to be consolidated with Blair as the single titular head of the European Union. But the Weinstein scandal derailed this and actually played a prominent role as consequence in the BREXIT movement being successfully implemented.
