Louisiana National Guardsman found dead in State Agency parking lot in Baton Rouge

The soldier, whose name was withheld pending next-of-kin notification, was pronounced dead by medical officials at the state’s complex for emergency operations, according to the Louisiana National Guard. The parking lot is part of the Governor's Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management, which brings together several state, local and nongovernment agencies to manage emergency situations.

I knew the National Guard was manning the testing sites, but I had no idea they were also administering vaccines.

How is this even a thing?

Shouldn't medical professionals be doing this?

In Delaware the DANG conducts sports physicals for Special Olympics athletes.

they come to the schools. Guess they have medics that can do this and a doc to sign off.

I am so sorry for this man's family and that he thought there was no other way than to take his own life, if that is in fact what happened.

What reasons would he have to take his own life in a state agency parking lot?

Personal tragedy? Afghanistan? COVID mandates? Hurricane Ida? Vaccine adverse reaction?

I feel guilty about speculating over his death, but did he have a reason for doing this in a state agency parking lot? Did he mean to send a message with his death?

Yes I know they have medics, and I guess there was a need for this in the initial rush for vaccinations. Although now looking back, it was completely unethical to do this.

Now though there is no need at all. Students should be able to go to their primary care physicians to get the shots, or at least to medical clinics, if they in fact want to take the experimental gene therapy treatments.

I'm trying to imagine myself in his role, responsible for administering experimental treatments to young college students who have been mandated by their university to take this experimental treatment. What if he knew someone who had been injured by these "vaccines?" What if he understood how wrong this entire thing is?

I don't know him or his family, or what he might have been thinking when he took his life as is being reported, but I can certainly imagine some scenarios.

without any details makes you wonder why they are suggesting it is a suicide.


sometimes, like with Deborah Palfrey, who said on camera she would NOT kill herself, they call the obvious murder a "suicide".

other times it is jumping to conclusions without an autopsy.

wonder what went on here. Poor man.

Veterans Affairs chief of staff Tanya Bradsher sent out an email that day to her senior staff. “My veteran network is reeling and I am sure yours are as well,” Bradsher wrote. “Can we highlight in our comms channels that VA has resources available? I am thinking of the vet centers in particular but open to all resources. This is devastating to so many.”

Similar reports were pouring in from veterans centers and groups across the country. Perhaps it was the way that it ended that affected so many so deeply.

Seems the media is being very tight lipped about this tragedy.

As if he knew the Clintons or some other dirt on the government.

cause of death - can be obvious or determined by examination or autopsy

manner of death - much broader classification. Partly for insurance/legal purposes.

things like: natural or accidental....

maybe suicide is in this group.

Witnesses said they first saw police outside the state’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness Friday morning. Paramedics pronounced the soldier died at the scene in Baton Rouge.

I do not know of any doctor's offices giving these shots but I'm on limited knowledge here. In my area, which could be considered a third of my state, it's clinics, Walgreen's and CVS giving shots.

Yes I agree that it seems doctor's offices aren't giving the shots. Why not? Lack of informed consent? Doctors don't want to be held liable? It's insane to me. Total destruction of the doctor/patient relationship.

I'm sure the excuse given is that doctor's offices aren't set up for the proper storage of the shots. I don't care. I'm tired of their excuses. Their preferred outcome is clear to me and many others.
