The most powerful freedom is freedom from religion/religious language and influence.
Best news is it still covers all the unexplained phenomena traditionally (falsely) attributed to religious superstition; it just (again) doesn't PRETEND to have any explanations or definitions, names. The agnostic path is the only honest one. It's high time enough people started getting truly serious.

The agnostic path is like a man walking on a road and willfully ignoring the scenery because all that matters to him is the act of walking.
He has shown you, o man, what is good. And what does the Lord ask of you, but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly before your God?

Close. I would say that it's more apt to say freedom is being able to perceive reality without any sort of belief system or prejudice. It's not just religious belief, but political and others... Belief is just a nasty mind virus.

"Good evidence"? Of what?
The fake "sons of apes" theory?

How about "primordial ooze" joke?

God...the Father..exists, as does His Son Yeshua.

The Bible covers 4000+ years of their interaction with mankind.

NOTHING that non-believers say will change these facts.

In reality, there is not one single shred of evidence OF ANY KIND that actually DISPROVES any of the vast majority of events in the Bible.

Dozens of people AND hundreds of places mentioned in the Bible have been proven to exist.

Here's a 191 page free PDF of Biblical Archaeological finds.

Re: The most powerful freedom is freedom from religion/religious language and influence.
agnostic is just code for satanism and atheism.

it is not meant to ascribe belief without religious affiliation. the simple and straightforward honest word BELIEVER does that!

agnostic is most likely a -ew created word.

believers should not use it. personally, i prefer glauben (believe) and even moreso glaube (faith) over english words, too heavily influenced by the -ews, AFAICT.

are spending lots of time talking about God.

what has been your experience with people who call themselves "agnostic"?

mine has been that they are atheists and science followers who use that LIE OF A WORD to get close to those who believe and have faith in our Creator, in attempts to break / nullify / erode that connection. unfortunately, i have ample experience upon which to draw...can you say the same?

I actually have contact with a high school friend who is one. I have flat out asked her: "what does that mean." She answered that it's not as if she doesn't believe in a Creator, it's just that she hasn't seen evidence...or enough evidence. I asked her if she ever prayed to know if there is a God. And she said "of course." She could very well change her views and she acknowledges that.

I write to you in peace.

I think your mind is trapped in a dark box of right angles and logic and yet you think you are free.

What you describe as Reality is only the total result of a sum of finite matter... a big pile of marbles no more and no less. What I am telling you is that in the agnostic mind set you refuse to see with your heart. You see the surface of things, but you do not penetrate the meaning with your heart... where Life resides.

The mind is a surgeon's scalpel, which can be of unparalleled precision to repair the human body, but the healing is not done with a scalpel, but with love. The mind and the heart must work together, but the agnostic path deprives you of seeing the beauty of the bond that unites you with your Creator.

No religious affiliation is nice, highly recommended 10/10. Sleep in on sundays, no guilt trips, no tithes, no priests diddling your kids and wife. Leave the adult fairytales behind, thank me later

Can't reason with a "good" Christian.

Religious fanaticism.

One of the very few human endeavours that facilitate the extinguishment of life with a positive portrayal as a key tenet.

The most divisive, destructive, and dangerous rhetorical device the world has ever known.

We would like to think of the modern era as more advanced philosophically than the ones preceding. That's simply not the case. As a whole, we still languish in our primitive roots of existential justification and are no more closer to resolving this riddle today than we were many millennia ago.
