as a farmer myself i give my horses a alternating wormer every month when its time to have the farrier come over and work on their feet.

and because a entire tube larger than a tube of tooth paste is enough to treat a 1000 pound animal, it only take a "lick" for me and my dogs to stay worm free...

otherwise , being around horses and pigs and cows and dogs and being on the farm in general is definantly a sure fire way to get a parasite , even if a simple pinworm.

a small pea sized amount of the "horse wormer , ivermectin" is all you need. maybe even less than that. but who knows for sure im just a country boy
