Whatever spiritual talk is going on here, it's plain to see that the emphasis is on a clerical notion of 'sin.' The sort of headspace you create by guilting and shaming and threatening the sinner makes any sort of spiritual growth impossible. For a person who hadn't dealt with your kind of insanity all his life, this distorted will to lose the war by winning this one battle would really boggle the mind.

Sexual prohibitions allow for religious authorities to violate people more cruelly and more intimately than any other. Given that this power over others was never used prudently, and never led to any respect for autonomy or boundaries on the part of the religious, it became indispensable.

Truthfully speaking the headspace you create in others by hammering away at their psyche and letting them know you watch them when they are naked and performing all sorts of bodily functions is what will exclude them from salvation. This is obvious from the fact that a person so violated becomes *less* than an animal, in that an animal doesn't have privacy but is never judged for being an animal like people are in this scenario.

So if a person gives up on everything material in listening to people who haven't, and who work on behalf of those who never have, and knowledge of this along with experiencing their tactics and hypocrisy creates such deep and abiding hatred for others that it excludes them from salvation because slaves are supposed to be CHEERFUL as well, what's the point? You're like those abusive parents who demand love after the beatings, and you back them up too.
