House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on Tuesday blocked the names of the 13 US service members killed in the Kabul blast from being read after a moment of silence on the House floor.

“How badly do Nancy Pelosi and the House Democrats want to cover up this Afghanistan debacle? They just blocked Members of Congress from reading the names of the service members who sacrificed their lives in Afghanistan last week.” Congressman Gimenez said on Tuesday.

“Don’t you think our military deserves better?” he added.

I am going to take a chance and open up about my personal life in a way I really shouldn't here.

When I speak about this abuse and abuser metaphor I am not speaking from dry clinical knowledge

I was abused by my parents as a child, so bad that in third grade I got sent to school with makeup on social services got called people got charged with abuse and I spent a month in foster care...

Did the abuse stop after that?

NO

It accelerated!

I was about to have to repeat the 4th grade and get taken away I had missed so much school because they knew not to try to hide the bruises cuts and black eyes and just kept me home

What stopped it?

I STOPPED IT years later by smashing my abuser in the back of the head with a baseball bat one day during a beating.

I told my abuser if they ever touched me or my younger siblings again I would KILL THEM

The abuse stopped.

You don't stop abuse by letting it happen

1. The government actually helped make my situation far worse after I got back from foster care by sending my abuser a report of everything they forced me to tell them... Doing familiar?

2. You see how that thing "I did wrong" got used to "justify" even worse?
Well here's the deal, I confronted my own mortality at the age of 10 because I KNEW I was going to die unless something stopped what was happening!

The government made it worse for me.

I was finally driven to fight back and attack after spending the previous month being forced to eat foods I was allergic to 3 meals a day for an entire month and getting beaten for daring to BEG food that didn't hurt me at school! (Again thanks government for making things worse!) All while enduring constant beatings and being forced to do several thousand pushups A DAY every day for IMAGINED INFRACTIONS!

I knew I wasn't going to survive to see junior high school.

Do not let yourself get that desperate before you fight back!

I got extremely lucky and won in my situation.
