EXCLUSIVE: Emergency Response Says Department of Defense Has Taken Over Vaccine Shipment Crash That Shuttered Airspace

The statement went on to say that a hazmat team was brought in to clear “oil and anti-freeze” for 21 hours.

“The West Virginia Center for Preparedness helped recover the vaccine, but it is unknown how much was saved,” WV Metro News reported.

The Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office, Monongalia Hazmat Team, and Governor Jim Justice’s office all refused to answer questions from Timcast about the crash.

When contacted by Timcast and questioned about if vaccines spilled from the vehicle, the Monongalia Hazmat Team replied that “we are unable to release any information at this time.”

The Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office also declined to answer questions and directed us to the three day old statement on their Facebook page.

My takeaway from that was they are concerned about two things:

1. A vial of the vax getting in to the wrong hands and being studied.

2. Potential environmental damage from spillage, considering hazmat is involved.

Seems like, if these things were actually safe, losing a few vials into the dirt wouldn't be such a big deal (We don't call out hazmat when a truck full of orange juice, for example, crashes), but here they are sending hazardous materials crews in to clean it up, and shutting down air and ground traffic, all the while now injecting it in to the arms of adolescents across the land.

I read it was because of large amounts of anti-freeze and oil spill...

But that doesn't explain the airspace closure.

Why would that be the case? They give the shots away so they have no street value. Hell, they pay you to take them, so I suppose the street value is actually negative.

So a very good friend of mine was a first responder on the scene before DOH and DOD. Told me it was a 35+ hour call. Over 50 units responded. A lot of fighting who ran the scene. They originally began sending teams of 3 down to unload the truck. After numerous people in hazmat suits began passing out they changed their plan. It took 3 wreckers to pull the truck up where they then began reloading vaxs on a new truck. DOH and DOD would only release redacted forms of hazardous chemicals being transported, and then on final report told local first responders that the report was TBD based on future respitory ailments. He also said there is no way those vaccines could be used after being in the heat for 35 hours. Pics for the doubters below:
