It means the people in the area will not be attacked 24/7 by the fake news propaganda companies for awhile. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77852475 Mental welfare in the area should go way up from being unplugged from the MSM. You are the creator of your own master plan... Make it a good one. I can see it ow.....Joe Smith prepared, stored water, home on stilts, stored food, generator that runs on both propane and gas. Then you see people that didn't prepare sitting around in the neighborhood waiting for help to come feed and give water and shelter. Going to be really, really ugly. And I wonder how many people just left all the animals behind or tied to a tree...like they did with Katrina. |

I'm sure they'll send help out to rescue so long as you say you are ready to get your covid shot. They'll probably make it mandatory for evacuations. And just like that, the black population led in the number of vaccinated. |

Sorry - no doom. They have a human climate. It is not Alaska. I lived without for 17 days. You get used to it in summer after about 4 days. Almost disappointed when the power came back. I said in the big Ida thread this could be some kind of black swan event that's sets everything off. Quoting: Just Passing Through..... No power, no AC, tempers flare, people start going to war with each other, National Guard, more escalation, etc etc etc, oh and petrol and other chemical production doom. This is going to be felt across the nation. This may sound crude, but considering the geographic location and reputation of New Orleans, this was like America taking one up the ass without the lube. The government prep and response was criminal, but that goes without saying. Very old family friend moved there due to job a couple years ago. I am dreading the news. Just got word. They evacuated to TEXAS on Saturday night! Their house however, is in Metairie. Hard hit. So sad. Augmented by Grace |

FFS leave it underwater. This is ridiculous. DO NOT REBUILD AGAIN. At least move it 50 miles North, East, West, hell even South. If they go south it will all be underwater to begin with... All major electric transmission lines have been destroyed. Quoting: Coppercoal All the big towers that deliver power to the city have been knocked over. They're gone... You have over 1.2 million people grouped together in a low lying swamp surrounded by limited transport access. You can't pump gas because there is no electricity... The water is in a similar situation... with major power down, it's only a matter of time before backup generators (if they're still functioning) will run out of fuel. You can't charge your cell phones because most people don't have ways to charge up without a connection to a power line or running car. How long can we expect your average city dweller to survive without their digital distractions, a warm meal, and clean water? No lights. No 911 services. And it will take the city a week... 1 week... just to assess the damage and repair plans for the big power transmission lines... before any recommended repairs are sent for... Then there is the task to bring in the materials, machinery, and labor to build new giant power transmission towers. How much longer will that take? And that doesn't even include the surface street power line repairs that will be needed to bring power to each city block and home. Do you know what this means? Utter bollocks. All towers? All transmission lines? Yeah right You brits are so bloody literal. He doesn’t mean every single tower is down. Looks pretty bad to me. Some of those massive towers that run across the water have toppled over. You don’t just bring in a small crane and hoist up a new telephone pole…. These will require a lot of engineering, fabricating and construction work. YOU NITWIT ASSFACE you said the same thing DICKHEAD |
