It time to go to Busch Gardens, Carowinds, Six Flags, Williamsburg, or whatever places like that that are near them?
 Quoting: 10001110101

I've never heard of "Carowinds" but none of the other places are anywhere near New Orleans.

Do you know anything about American geography?

The intense storm had caused all eight transmission lines into the New Orleans area to go down, spokesman Brandon Scardigli said in an emailed statement.

It is not going to take that long to get power restored to the vast majority of people.

Where is your link?

It means the people in the area will not be attacked 24/7 by the fake news propaganda companies for awhile.

Mental welfare in the area should go way up from being unplugged from the MSM.

You know what happens to water damaged structures within hours in the summer heat if they aren’t dried and treated immediately?

They rot and turn into mold infested garbage heaps that will be demolished.

No power, no cleanup, no gas, no travel, no food, well.. you get it.

NOLA’s gonna be a shit show for months to come.

I went through Hurricane Michael, Cat5. Every single power pole was down in the entire city for miles and miles. They estimated 2-months, but a few days later they had mobilized linemen from all over the entire country and we got power in about 2-3 weeks for most places.

Yeah, I know what it means: they need to hire a massive Japanese crew to get the most critical parts of the electrical system back up and running. After Fukushima, aside from the plant disaster itself, they made rather quick repairs to various parts of infrastructure, roadways, essential services, etc.

They'll get it done in half the time.

True but they're going to need some Black Hawk helicopters. And some missiles. Maybe nukes. Biden can provide.

Re: New Orleans' worst is yet to come | No Electricity for the next 30 - 60 days | Do you know what this means?
All major electric transmission lines have been destroyed.

All the big towers that deliver power to the city have been knocked over. They're gone...

You have over 1.2 million people grouped together in a low lying swamp surrounded by limited transport access.

You can't pump gas because there is no electricity...

The water is in a similar situation... with major power down, it's only a matter of time before backup generators (if they're still functioning) will run out of fuel.

You can't charge your cell phones because most people don't have ways to charge up without a connection to a power line or running car.

How long can we expect your average city dweller to survive without their digital distractions, a warm meal, and clean water?

No lights.

No 911 services.

And it will take the city a week...

1 week... just to assess the damage and repair plans for the big power transmission lines... before any recommended repairs are sent for...

Then there is the task to bring in the materials, machinery, and labor to build new giant power transmission towers.

How much longer will that take?

And that doesn't even include the surface street power line repairs that will be needed to bring power to each city block and home.

Do you know what this means?

Over Human History cities have been abandoned.
If this power issue is that major, that prolonged I don't know how the city and trying to stay there can not be condemned as a health hazard. Why pour millions - BILLIONS back into this - its time to relocate the majority of the population.

Face reality, make the changes - move forward.
Trying to patch this - is not the solution.

If I were a resident as hard as this situation is, I would face it as being time to relocate, up and away from this area.

That’s not what it means. Only in your role playing doom glitter mind hero. The situation is not good but power can be restored to many areas in a short while. Other areas could suffer more but that’s not gonna make your doom glitter party come true. Stop speculations and just making shit up, it makes you look dumber
