I think IDA is going to cause a VERY SERIOUS environmental disaster.

IDA is hitting a area nicknamed the Chemical Coast. It's basically swampland, but full of refineries and chemical plants.

First of all if I lived in the US, I'd fill every car and gas can I owned...today.

But if you remember Katrina and Andrew... they both seemed like "we missed a bullet"... it wasn't until a day or 3 later that we realized the disaster that was unfolding or that had occured.

I think in the movie Cloverfield Lane, there was a scene where a large swath of Louisiana was simply toxic and uninhabitable... Similar to Fukushima.

Imagine if a Dow plant that had huge tanks of benzene were leveled? They're not really talking about it in the news. I think it was the LT. Governor who mentioned this in passing during a interview.

I'm not a "Greenie"... I joke about celebrating Earth Day by burning a tire on my FB page... but I do care if we fuck up a entire ecosystem.
