So at least it should not be gushing oil. Those rigs are massive, but so are the wind and water forces on such a large structure. And lots of repetitive shock stresses. Apologies if it was just a rumor. The main hurricane thread someone from the local area reported that the local radio said the rig had broken free. I suppose it will get comfirmed one way or the other as soon as flights can resume over that area. Justme |
