My Wife Donna passed away on September 1st

I am SO sorry...may your happy memories bring you comfort in this time of grief and mourning.

I will be thinking of you and sending you special prayers of calmness and strength as you venture out tomorrow to say good-bye. Hang in there my friend.

Nine's is right, especially at the smaller places. They usually have family come an hour earlier anyway for private goodbyes.

There isn't anything I can say that the others haven't said, but I'll be with y'all in spirit and prayer tomorrow and through the weekend.

To so many of the others that have lost loved ones, I'm so sorry. This time period really stinks. I pray for peace for you too.

I pray that you feel her nuturing presence around you... especially in nature. May the sun on your skin remind you of her warmth.

Our souls in the living are mostly asleep. She has awoken to the magnificence that is heaven.

Very good advice, here. You may still be infectious and I am sure you would not want to pass this virus to anyone showing up to pay respects to Donna.

And you should have your own private time to spend with her before anyone else gets there anyway.

You are amazing! I know it hurts like holy Hannah, but Donna would be so proud of you for holding it together.

Just remember to grieve. It's ok to cry and miss your wife and the mother of your children.

I'm just so sorry for this terrible loss. Everything you've been through and now this? Praying, praying and praying for you!

I have avoided talking about this.
My elderly mother who lives in Zimbabwe has had severe reaction to second vax shot a few weeks ago.
She’s now had 3 strokes and is deteriorating rapidly.
I’ve made the decision, with my siblings, to not fly to Zimbabwe to say goodbye.
Having to quarantine in a disease riddled Zimbabwean government building as I’m unvaxxed is just one of the reasons for not travelling.

You have to do what’s right for you Pete, these are extraordinary times.
