Anyone else just have their Coinbase balance go to near $0

I was in Coinbase 6 years ago and got hacked. Wiped out all my BTC and accessed my bank account.

Coinbased did NOTHING to help me!

If you are in Coinbase GTFO NOW before you lose everything!

Just set up a white list of addresses that your account can send too.

Even if your account is compromised NO ONE can send your crypto to any address that is not whitelisted. The vaults are a nice feature also.

Ya'll desperately need to get your coin off the exchanges ASAP. Not only is it vulnerable to hackers, but it's not allocated, meaning if the exchange goes belly up your chances of getting your coins are next to none. If and when an exchange goes under, their retail customers will be last in line to get whatever's left of the company's assets.

I highly recommend Coldcard. Ledger probably isn't too bad either, but it's not open source and can't be used quite as securely as Coldcard can be. But hell, people, even a paper wallet is better than an exchange, and you can get them for free. And if you do it right, it's actually pretty secure.

I only have basically pennies in Coinbase. I keep my crypto in my wallet. I usually have <$1 worth left after I transfer a currency so I can watch the value of what I have in my portfolio.
It's all there, but everything has been heading down today.

Neat, glad I pined this, I've learned a lot. Was toying with crypto and some of the advice has been great. Thanks GLP for being open and learned. Hat's off.

I got an email from coinbase to an older email address to confirm it. It looks like a legit email and link which I didn't click, but accounts look fine. Also got a confirmation request from Binance out of the blue. Getting a little cyber polygon spooky.

I guess people have not learned their lesson yet. NEVER NEVER NEVER HOLD your crypto on anything other then a cold wallet. If its online it will get stolen, period. Only do transfer when selling or converting or sending somewhere else.

Wtf is a Coinbase? Does our military guard coins? Does Mario know about this?
