The media and news were already signaling Global Warming, Climate Control and passing The Bill last night while all this was happening. CNN's Don Lemon was noticeably smug and annoyed that he had to break from warning of White Supremacy to report on the tragic weather alarm happening. It was an arrogant shit show, also not so important in real time, because they also kept going to the abortion law unfairness bill.
Amazing that anyone would believe these people to deliver any truthful news. It is all "me, me, me, me, me." and we must win this and smugness and one-sided opinions of what they want that you must want too, lest you are a bigot and need to die off.

4 nursing home residents die in mass shelter after Ida, LDH denied access to facility

Four nursing home residents in Tangipahoa Parish died after Hurricane Ida, but state officials investigating deteriorating conditions at the facility were turned away and were unable to check on other residents.

The residents were evacuated to the facility ahead of Hurricane Ida from seven different nursing homes around Southeast Louisiana to shelter from the storm.

Sounds like LDH informed the appropriate LEOs. Should never have gotten to this point though. How I remember the horrible images from nursing homes post Katrina. Was really hoping that could be avoided this time.

Just heard JBE say that the parishes impacted by the storm have a waiver to use off road diesel for 15 days. That might be helpful to some people running diesel.
