I was surprised seeing as how the websites/airlines all say a negative Covid test or vaccination card is required. What's going on?

To be more clear, I didn't see anyone asking anyone for any documentation and I saw no one showing any card or negative test results to anyone.

And airlines only require masks to fly

[link to www.cdc.gov (secure)]

Some airlines are not even requiring their employees to be vaxxed

Re: I flew from Puerto Rico to Newark yesterday, was never asked for ANY Covid documents. Why is that?
So let me get this straight: there is a supposed global pandemic, stores, restaurants, etc are starting to require vaxx cards or negative results to enter, the military is being forced to get jabbed, state employees, health workers etc etc, but you can still fly without proving you are negative or vaxxed even though the websites say it is required??

PR is part of USA. Covid tests are only necessary when entering the USA.

It’s unfortunate that the travel websites have incorrect information.
If airlines were already requiring vaccine in order to fly within the US, there would have much more uproar and headlines in the news about it and not just a blurb on travel websites. Airlines have said it would cause too much delay at airports.
Cruise lines do require COVID vax, but not airlines.

We just flew round trip USA to USVI two weeks ago. Proof of negative test results were only required on our initial outbound trip and arrival at USVI airport. Nothing is required to re-enter USA as long as you’re coming from a US territory.

Here is the information:

[link to www.cdc.gov (secure)]

Are US territories considered foreign countries for the purposes of this Order?
No, the Order to present a documentation of a negative COVID-19 test or recovery from COVID-19 does not apply to air passengers flying from a US territory to a US state.

US territories include American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.

Re: I flew from Puerto Rico to Newark yesterday, was never asked for ANY Covid documents. Why is that?
i would say this is a sign of employee apathy. or you just fell into the category that never come up hot so no need to check.

but in travel. i ended up looking this way or that way the employees of tsa. on the way back from europe i gave the flight attendant a 30 euro tip as i didnt want to stand in line to exchange it in the usa. she later gave me a paper bag full to the top with little wines and shots. i drank about a third of them on the long flight. slept and woke up very hungover head pounding. in detroit. the tsa guy looked at me and asked where i was going. i just said "home" while sweating, probably through squinted eyes reeking of cheap wine. he smiled and said "get there". i assumed at that point he thought i was military. its got a look when people mistake you for military. i think its the way i talk or walk. my relatives were military. the next stop is the scanners. i still had 20 some bottles in a paper bag in my carry on. I think they saw that and assumed i was airline staff or family of. i got the single point towards the fast track exit.

but i would say its more the employees know its bullshit. and many of the airport employees are blacks and they got a firm conspiracy base and thoughts of lyin media.
