I have worked from home last 17 months or more and do all the engagements on video calls, I don’t think anyone can question my ability to do the job remotely, so should be able to continue working remotely, but more worried about being unable to even go to the shops to buy food etc should passports become the norm.

I've been with my company 9 years. I've been working from home since the shutdown began in March of 2020. My team was told it would be permanent. But we support a couple hundred nurses and social workers who were previously doing home visits and going into hospitals. They've been working from home too. 3 weeks ago we were told the company was probably going to mandate the vax. They had us all take a survey that was supposed to be completed by last Friday to see how everyone felt about it. Those of us who are refusing it have been waiting on pins and needles waiting for the official announcement.

My manager already knows how I feel about it. We had a company picnic a few weeks ago but you either had to be vaxxed or wear a mask to attend. I told him I refused to do either and so would not be going.

Seems like asking for an exemption is not really standing up to this. It's still playing their game by their rules. It might buy us a little time but that is all.

So many questions.

The first thing we should do is organize (yeah, right) and fight (yeah, right). If we could ever get those two going, we could expand and develop co-ops, businesses, marketing campaigns, etc.

The biggest problem I see up front is that all of this requires cooperation on a massive scale. I don't think we have that in us.

Move to a rural area and get a job doing some sort of construction seasonally outside. Most contractors don't give a shit if you are vaxxed or masked in the rural midwest.

More "like-minded" individuals circumventing the big government regulations....until they shut THAT down, too!

Not sure we need it on a massive scale. People just need to do it within their own sphere of influence/neighborhood/city...it'll pick up steam and grow from there.

Small, local co-ops could organize into groups who could have a functioning organization. We even have a small HOME SCHOOL group meeting at our church! If children are kicked out of school for not getting vaxxed (parents not vaxxing them, really), then the parents can take them to a home school group and get involved. After all, you won't be working away from home anyway!! No need for public schools to babysit your children!

Food: are there local farmers nearby (including ranchers for those of us who STILL eat meat!!)

Meds: how about local feed stores who carry many of the needed meds, albeit it may say "horse...or dog..." on the label.

Water: I personally know a dozen farmers/ranchers who have wells and their own water source.

If you're in a big city, seriously, GLP has been harping on this for as long as I've been here (10 years?), how important it is to GET OUT OF THE BIG CITIES.

We were more or less "guided" to this small town (by God, I'm sure, but some of you may think that's "hokey." That's ok, it's still true!), and I KNOW it will be a safe haven (for a longer time than the city we left) for a time. Maybe long enough....but I doubt tptb will let up, now that they SEE a plan that allows them to KILL people willingly with little effort and a lot of help from MSM.

Here's my line in the sand:

As long as I have loved ones to care about - not care FOR....that's a different kettle of fish. Ours are all grown, but there ARE Grands, and great-grands. But we're not close to them (either geographically or emotionally, by virtue of the geography). But as long as I have loved ones, those I LOVE to be concerned about....I want to stay around.

Some of them have been FORCED to take the jab. If it kills them (some already died, others - I'm holding my breath). But if I were the last one standing, would I want to stay around? For what reason? Don't we all only live for those we love? Or do we only live to stay alive?

I know I don't want that. If I had no one I cared about, no one to give me joy, or me give them, I don't want to be here anymore....there would be nothing to live FOR.

I believe at that point, I'd probably just go take the damn jab myself and not give a shit if it killed me. Have lost too many already, and I know the carnage is not nearly over.

i work in a hospital and they are not requiring vaccines...YET. But somehow they have enough money to give away a $1,000 per DAY for 3 weeks. Thats $15k to buy peopleoff. thats sickening. Meanwhile they arent giving their staff raises and keep opening new practices to keep up with influx of new residents. Also, theres tons of people ready to walk off the job if they require it. I am too. The problem is, filling that gap from job to job. Cant have another lined up if a mandatory isnt done, it would be a waste of tme, money and effort. I like my job and where im at and the income. but i would take a income hit and work from home for a bit less. when they mandate i will become a religious exempt too. At a state level, democrats will put an end to that immediately. NY already has religious exemptions banned before covid hit

i would do this too but trying to make 70K from a private business 2 weeks after you leave you other job will leave your mortgage and bills unpaid. If you have money like that saved up, cool
