I am of the mind that if Trump had of been reelected - like he actually was rolleyes - then this Taliban uprising would not of happened....it just wouldn't have. But that's of course speculation on my part, and imagine many others might feel the same way.

I mean, I was sitting here feeling like a dumbass for thinking the Taliban had been stepped back when all that started....that at least they weren't strong enough to pull off this coup. Naive me....I suppose. I honestly never saw this coming.

I dunno, I'm sensing a coup on Humainity from even higher ups, though....because just like the COVID scam, this activity of the Taliban is doing the same thing, inciting fear and anger in us.

From my point of view, that's the worst thing that could be done to us, worse than just outright killing us....by far worse.

Like always, there's some big orchestrating going on in offices where we are not allowed into....when is that crap going to stop?

I'm unable to say when, just like the rest of us.

But I am of the certain mind, that if Trump was now our president, this wouldn't even have happened in Afghanistan with the Taliban overthrowing the gov't, and our US citizens in such a horrible situation.

What about you? What do you think?

And I just have to say it: Biden is the absolute worse president that has ever existed. He makes Carter look like an US asset everyone loved. I liked Carter for his stance on the environment, but I know most think he was the most ineffectual president ever to sit in office.

Heh, I betcha you're rethinking that now....charlie

I dunno, I saw Trump as a peace maker, not a corruption maker.

I suppose it's part of what's behind Trump not taking office for a second term, because he goes against their narrative.

You asked the wrong question. Once US forces left, it was inevitable that the Taliban would reclaim Afghanistan.

Would the Taliban have taken Kabul so quickly as to interfer with the evacuation? I don't know the answer. I don't know that Trump would have gotten them out. Look at Syria. Did Trump aid the Kurds when Turkey took over their territory and committed horrible atrocities? No. It didn't even make the news.

From what I understand US forces left first leaving Kabul and the airport unprotected as Biden was assured the Afghani forces could hold Kabul. The casualties of the Afghan forces was much, much higher than those of Coalition forces throughout the conflict. They relied on US intelligence and air power. That was taken away.

The Taliban refused to negotiate with the Afghan government as they refused to recognize the legitimacy of the government. They insisted all US (Coalition?) forces be removed before they would agree to a peace settlement. In other words, they refused to negotiate.

I am pretty sure our intelligence knew what would happen.

Re: Would what has happened in Afghanistan, had of happened, given Trump in office instead of Biden?
I can’t imagine this would have happened under Trump and his people.

They would have made sure all the right people were ready to be evacuated and their paperwork processed and completed before withdrawal.

Would have turned over the military equipment to the Afghan military and made sure Afghan military was moved onto the US base and briefed on the equipment and ready to operate in place of the Americans before pulling out the US troops.

And this would have completed on time by the date agreed on the peace treaty which was May 29, or would have renegotiated other terms, not just overstayed in violation of the terms.

Trump and his ambassador would not have flown the rainbow flag over the US embassy in Afghanistan, which probably demoralized the Afghanistan military and caused them to lack enthusiasm to fight the Taliban who claim to be more devout conservative Muslims. All Afghans are Muslims.

I don't think there are any wrong questions, lovey, just multiple questions....hugs

It makes no sense to me that US armed forces were removed, before the entirety of private US folks were removed....I mean, that so flies in the face of what our military is about, protecting the US citizenry.

THIS should come before any President and military command thinking, 'Oh, another country can handle our people just fine'....it's such a volatile country, what were they thinking?

Seriously.....scream

sigh....I may not be as educated about all the particulars as some of youse others, but I know I have rock solid common sense.

It can be accounted for, what has happened "in the heat of battle": LameDame has offered up their take on it.

It can be accounted for, the outcome of this: last one pointed that out.

But who's accountable in the first place? Who is orchestrating this to begin with?

Those are the correct questions for any of us to be asking, because until they're locked down, none of this fuckery is going to cease like so many of us want it to.

My gawd, I didn't know that had happened....sigh

I just can't even with it, our country and its mainstay of salt of the earth people so defaced....I am now moved to an incredible state of sorrow. I just sat with my hand over my mouth, just shaking my head for a minute.

I'm a 6D Wanderer, in human form....and I should know what to do right now, but my humanness is running my show today, I suppose. I'm emotionally invested in what's happening today, more so than other days.

It's all so very frustrating when thought about, ya know?....shrug

I dunno, my whole "job" here during life is to raise awareness, help myself and others to clean their consciousness clocks, to ground in incoming energies....I'm a spiritual warrior, not a military warrior, so my attention is mostly drawn in other ways....but when I come up for air from those tasks, taking a look around, I'm fucking horrified at what's going on.

Heh, and I'm just going to continue to do what I'm doing because of that horror.

Being what I'm made of, I do believe we are living in two different realities at once right now. While that might not be obvious to some of you, it is to me.

For the first time in my life, I want a split from another reality, rather than it being integrated. I've watched us integrate I don't know how many other 3D dimensions over a few decades, and have never seen one split.

The separation of the wheat and chaff has happened. The outcome is this perceived "two different realities"....and I do think it's only a matter of time before such the split happens.

It's not going to be pretty getting there, nor while the split is happening, yet the outcome will be "fresh."

The above in bold is from my expanded self chiming in....heh, I also am getting the feeling from them, "Why do you do this to yourself, worry so much?"

Because I'm fucking human, that's why....slaphim

I agree with Trump on his domestic policy, but I totally disagree with his foreign policy. His ego is big enough. His ego is why he did not make a good president. I have seen other strong republican leaders that I think will make a better President. I am not blinded by "oh, Trump is the greatest". Don't forget, until recently, he promoted the vaccine.

"On February 29, (2020) the United States and the Taliban signed an agreement aimed at ending the United States' longest military action. The deal lays out a timetable for the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan in return for various security commitments from the insurgents and a pledge to hold talks over a political settlement with the Afghan government -- which it so far has refused to do.

The deal -- signed before a bevy of international officials and diplomats in Doha, Qatar -- has given the Taliban what it has craved for years: international legitimacy and recognition."

"U.S. officials are selling the Taliban as a partner when it is anything but," says Bill Roggio, a senior fellow at a Washington-based think tank, the Foundation for Defense Of Democracies, and editor of the Long War Journal. "This is a fiction made up by U.S. officials who are desperate for a deal that will cover the military withdrawal from Afghanistan."

"The U.S. has been sidelining the Afghan government for years, first by refusing to allow it to be involved with negotiations, then by signing the deal without the Afghan government as a partner," Roggio says.

The Afghan government was not part of the "peace" negotiations. The agreement was signed without them. Doesn't that mean the US recognized the Taliban as being the legitimate government of Afghanistan? So yeah, they ran like hell once US troops pulled out as part of the peace treaty with the Taliban.

By the way, look at the history of Khalilzad, the diplomat who negotiated the deal. It caught my eye that he was part of Unocal that has a shady past. I was trying to refresh my memory on Unocal. Seems I remember they were on trail for something and most of the evidence was in one of the twin towers. I need to do more research.

Trump was being pressured to get out of Afghanistan by his supporters. This agreement was made under Trump.

Ya know, I went offline, did some breath work, and noticed the birds singing.

I was so in my mind about the state of the world of people beforehand, I couldn't even hear the birds singing.

A lot good happened during our energy working session, but the above is the most profound thing I got out of all of it.

I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to do it, but I am required to stop paying attention to the shit show.

It's like watching a train wreck for too long....I don't want to become the train wreck or to just be a lookie-loo.

I don't know what to do about the state of the world of people, I can't see a way for me (personally) to change the course we're on, to make the change from the inside of our gov'ts, our ABC agencies, what goes on behind closed doors....not physically am I able to.

The only power I know I have is to put my full force and energy into creating a space for a better future for us....being a part of the movement to open the door to our lasting freedom.

It is hard not to pay attention to all the mess, though....I do after all live here, and I'm in it as much as the rest of you.

At least I got to hear the birds sing today.

Hey Last One,

I had to go run some errands too. Just finished reading the article not long ago. I mostly used the article to point out the position of Khalilzad who was used as the chief US negotiator. He is on my look up and research list.

All I know is that Biden did not have the troops out in May as per the treaty. I do know know the details of the treaty. Would you have a link?

I think that people are trying to lay blame according to their political beliefs. That is what I am meaning to challenge. Whose fault is it? It is the culmination of years of mistakes so how do you lay the blame on one administration?

I am not defending Biden by any means. Do I think it is an example of his inept leadership? Yes. Do I think he was given bad intel and possibly set up? Maybe. I do not think that Biden focused on this withdrawal or gave it much thought. He was told it was under control and accepted what he was told. He was too damned focused on making people get shots.

It is a heartbreaking situation. I was heartbroken when the Kurds, who defeated ISIS, were persecuted by Turkey as well. This is just another example of more of the same. The USA is long since dead and we will not be there to save anyone.

This is from Fox News by the way.

Also listened to one interview that gave credit to VP Pence who checked several times to see that those who worked with the Americans would be protected and evacuated. In that interview it stated that the anti immigration policies by the administration led by Stephen Miller caused some of the problems we are now seeing.

Re: Would what has happened in Afghanistan, had of happened, given Trump in office instead of Biden?

I doubt if Trump would have let them fly the Gay Pride flags at the embassies. Looking at the timing I think that is what set the Taliban off. And on another note I doubt you will see that issue debated at all in the MSM.

It sets me off, and I'm not a Muslim.

What in the hell were they thinking doing that there? Why are they doing it anywhere?

They would tell him this is the next move and he would put his spin on it like all presidents do for their masters

This agreement was made under Trump.

And biden broke the deal.

Read the details of Trumps deal(which you posted) and point out the parts that biden didn't trash, ignore, or fuck up.

This should be good.......waiting.

Sorry, whether you know it or not, you ARE defending biden.

Trumps deal with the Taliban consisted of a firm withdrawl date combined, and predicated upon, strict guidelines of performance on both sides.

biden broke the deal, missed the timeline, and proceeded with no cohesive plan to facilitate the withdrawl and evac. As evidenced by the abandonment of Bagram air base before the civilian and military exit was complete.

He wasn't "set up", he fucked it up with a mix of arrogance, desire to play big shot and claim he ended the war, and a total lack of comprehension of what he had done, and is doing now.

Trump made the deal, and under the circumstances, a good one. We needed to get out, the American public wanted out for good reason, and the deal provided for an ass kicking if the Taliban didn't perform to their agreement. Big joe the bigshot pissed it away, and here we are.

Elections(I use that term lightly) have consequences, and this the most egregious example TO DATE. It's not over yet in Afghanistan, and just getting started with his Covid scam.
