Now while on holidays I am told by a co-worker to check my email for this..... I am numb and feel violated. There is not a specific date yet, but you know there will be one. And the testing will likely end within a month because they will run out of resources. We don't have enough tests or labs to conduct that frequency of testing, people! NEWS FLASH Similar situation to OP The company I work for has already stated: 1) There will be no weekly testing in lieu of vaccination. Period. 2) Although the majority of our workforce has been remote for 18 months and the plan is to keep it that way, EVEN REMOTE EMPLOYEES ARE NOT EXEMPT FROM THE MANDATE. That's right - even remote, full time remote staff will have to take the vaccine as a "condition of employment". I am not shilling nor trolling anyone. I wish it were not true. This may be per each corporation's discretion, but as for me the company I work for is literally funneling us all into vaccination, there is no other choice. OH - and - the state has already said, that if you are terminated due to not adhering to the mandate - NO UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS FOR YOU either. Something has to give.
