Quoting: Fizarak Bullshit that is being incorporated into laws and actions by governments the world over. Lets define terms. What is your estimation of a "reset"...Outline it for me... So you're saying it doesn't meet the definition of "reset" because those that are in power are still in power, they just are changing the rules of their power vs an actual new group being in charge? I think redefining the "social contract" counts as a reset. I think the fact they are calling this a Bretton Woods situations counts as a reset. I think that all the countries are acting in lockstep to "build back better" counts as a reset. I think the fact they are trying to work in what amounts to a social credit system to do what used to be every day activities counts as a reset. What part of the word "reset" do you have an issue with? Would you prefer we just call it flat out world-wide totalitarianism by a small group of billionaires and whoever their masters are? In any case they are seeking to change the way we all interact, move and live in the world. The game is the same (survive and thrive as much as possible), but the rules have changed and are changing (more so than any singular point in modern history). That is the "reset". ---- Not meaning to derail the topic of the thread. The options available will be different for everyone. Personally I'm trying my hand at stock/asset trading. Not for everyone of course. Not entirely sure it's going to work out, but I work in "healthcare" myself and the writing is on the wall there. Good, thank you...I don't necessarily disagree. What I have heard people say about a reset is the cancelation of debts, and a guaranteed livable income from the government, as in total welfare for anyone unemployed or under employed...Basically elimination of the poor, which is impossible... The World Economic Forum say The Great Reset is all about Socialism and raising the living status of the poor worldwide. It’s a bunch of BS. They are lying thru their teeth. It’s a financial reset and asset grab, with some more power and control prizes thrown in. Spread the word, "Ivermectin Kills Covid" Let's make Ivermectin an Over-The-Counter drug so it can be taken at the first sign of any viral symptoms. Quoting: Pervnoff No I meant basically a fixed money-market type feature of the 401(k) prior to having to move it. Thank you! Pervnoff no to that too...The reason you don't want to play peek-a-boo with your money is because you cannot time the market...No one knew that last year the market would sink 20% and then recover 65% by the end of the year, with a yield of 45%...We made 37%, because the DOW didn't di well, but it sure beats 12%!! Thanks! I figure if things really took a dump the fixed accounts wouldn't be worth anything either. Or, what happens in hyperinflation? Pervnoff We stay invested in the market, in all categories which are: Growth, Growth and Income, Aggressive Growth, and International We beat inflation by not selling assets... Thanks! So, you're not a big Bonds person? Pervnoff |
