Re: GLP Peeps - Questions for you...
I a man stuck with yes, subject to the tolerances my own ability to change.
9 billion more of me would not only be continually frustrating, but extremely boring.
I love searching through minutiae , and discovering the topography of converse positions.
Playing role reversal, as per steel man arguments , not straw man.
A world where everytone agrees isotropically not only seems very dull, but would stagnate in creative thought

There is an innate program to label one perception as more valuable than another...yet it is the combined perceptions that lead to a bigger picture...of comprehension.

Do you want everyone else around you to think and do exactly what you do?

If they don't...do you complain about it?

Do you think your ways superior?

Did Mao step into "chaos" and try to "fix" it?

Because he knew what was best?

He was superior?

On a side note I find it this thought, spontaneously thought , but possibly insightful.
Most people do not even understand the basic principle of disagreement should always be founded first in agreement of terms.
This is not imho how most peopel DISAGREE. They do not first foundationally look for common ground. Thus all disagreements remain ungracefully unenlightening .
Inversely, I would like to propose that most agreements are meaningless between most people I encounter , because they do not state where they disagree

It's like most people imho, unfortunately do not understand the basic governing dynamic of what a conversation based in axioms actually is.

Offered as extrapolation:
As per the political landscape , via chaos and ocification
I find the line represtation to be overly limited , extreme right and left always end with similar tyrannys. It leads to the same overal set of Tryanny via different direction of a circular, mirror imaged bellcurve

To take it one step further, it can be viewed as a Gaussian function, of a three dimensional , circular bell curve. Connected by field lines where one can employ systems on either side of center silmuteously to reach the extreme poles of Tyranny..

Agreed.

The rigidity of following the party decision rather than the moral one (or the corporate one) has become the ultimate challenge.

This system lacks the fluidity of a good communication...

Oh Man - This conversation was awesome and real...sorry you can't post AC.(s)

I've always been fascinated by communication.

To commune.

This morning while doing dishes I was wondering about telepathy.

We often catch thoughts that others are having...yet you only know this in real honest communication.

Most people try to hide what they are thinking and present masks to the world.

Sometimes we pick up on others thoughts, sometimes we push thoughts.

I find the only way to tell is to know you were thinking about something when someone else brings it up.

by quantum definition a wave is not a particle. perhaps consciousness is best described as a wave
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 54813749

with that in mind the notion could be one step further by us going into "it"
is into what
our technology shows us stuff no one feels safe seeing while possessing the belief that caused them to design and construct the technology that is currently causing their experience of feeling unsafe saying what they see
they say it does not like to be talked about
or stay silent

and stuff like that
it can become a bit awkward what to say/do which is why we currently do what we do
