My kid was spec ops. 2 ops to Af stan. the US was trying to train the local soldiers and several times the so called good locals just turned on the US guys and started shooting. He did talk to people on the tarmac and all those are afghans who worked for U.S. or NATO and know they risk being killed because they collaborated. The likelihood is that Air Force plane 1109 is devoted to "terrorist" training or ops. That is just a big ol' prop in my opinion and I don't just mean the propellers.
