I have a hypothesis. You tell your experimental subjects that there is a horrible GI bug from Nepal running rampant. You take them afterwards to Hardee’s and tell them there was an outbreak in the shop but it’s been rigorously cleaned. How many of your 20 test subjects will report they experienced symptoms of the Nepalese GI syndrome that is running rampant? Any guesses? Well, we have to do the experiment unless someone has already conducted rigorous similar research perhaps with a different set of symptoms? Is anyone aware of such studies, science people?
