Quoting: Servant-of-the-LORD Last summer I pre-ordered propane for the winter at $1.19 a gallon. This year it's $1.65. That's a 39% increase. Just wait. It's about to really skyrocket. I learned my lesson about propane heat years ago. Trucks wouldn't even deliver during a cold winter snap for less than $500 minimum order. I now only use propane for emergency backup heat. I don't see how they can do that legally. They can't let you run our and be without heat. Last Edited by Servant-of-the-LORD on 08/13/2021 01:28 PM I am a humble Servant of the one True Living God. |

Until your military service has required you neutralize enemy combatants and invaders in the defense of your country, don't presume to tell us that have defended you that you don't support every shot we fired to eliminate that enemy. |

Go outside with an ax and chainsaw to make a woodpile with the equivalent heating value. You will appreciate even $2 per gal propane. Run a woodstove for a few months and you will appreciate clean propane heat at the push of a button. When you are afraid of losing your life, you have already lost your life. Don't be afraid. |

The house had a wood stove in the basement. We cut wood every year. I am a humble Servant of the one True Living God. |
